On March 20th, China ushered in the Spring Equinox solar term. Coinciding with the second day of the second lunar month, the double festivals made this day particularly meaningful. As the fourth solar term in spring, the Spring Equinox sees the sun shine directly on the equator, resulting in equal day and night. After this day, the days in the Northern Hemisphere become longer and the nights shorter, with temperatures rising steadily, plants reviving, and spring in full bloom.
